With summer just around the corner, the Youth Center is still looking for day camp scholarships for children this summer. Many Youth Center families are facing a difficult time in our current economy, including foreclosure of homes, gas bills and hours being cut at work. Although our day camp is very reasonably priced at $50/week, the reality is that some of our families cannot afford that amount. Will YOU please support a child for day camp this summer? There are different levels of support, any of which would be extremely helpfully.
- We need 15 children to be sponsored at $40/week for 8 weeks.
- To sponsor 1 child for 8 weeks at $40/week, it would cost $320. This would mean the family would still pay $10/week
- To completely sponsor 1 child for 1 week, it costs $50
- To partially sponsor 1 child for 1 week of the Leadership Training (a new program this summer for older youth), it costs $15/week. 8 weeks would cost $120
